What We Do:

Areas of Focus

What We Fund

The Emil Muller Foundation makes both strategic and responsive grants to organizations invited to apply. Our mission is to strengthen environmental conservation in our local community.

Through our responsive grantmaking we award program, capital project, and general operating grants focused primarily on environmental conservation efforts. Our grants aim to conserve, maintain, and enhance the scenic, wilderness, wildlife, open space and outdoor recreation value of the physical environment through research into conservation problems, professional guidance to communities seeking to address environmental challenges, advocacy for sound policy, and educational programming on subjects pertaining to the environment, natural resources, conservation, and connected problems.

Geographic Focus

We fund organizations and projects operating in and serving the residents of Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Seneca, Wayne, and Yates counties in New York State.
